Our task now is to restore democracy and build a government that works for all.

Supreme Court Reform

A Supreme Court captured by extremists has thrown out all pretense of restraint. The result is a government of money, by money and for money.

  • Court expansion from nine to thirteen, to match the number of federal circuits
  • Legislation to narrow Supreme Court jurisdiction and pursue other avenues of reform
  • Appointing an accountability-oriented attorney general to investigate Supreme Court corruption and law-breaking

Restoring the Rule of Law

No official or citizen at any level will be above the law.

  • Accountability for Trump administration lawlessness
  • Prosecution for campaign contributions that were in fact corrupt influence-buying

Taking Money Out of Politics

Our democracy cannot function when political power is for sale.

  • A multi-tiered approach combining transparency legislation and a constitutional amendment to repeal Citizens United

Rebuilding America

While reining in the court and restoring democracy, I will lead a bipartisan coalition to enact measures desired by a wide majority of the American people across both parties to build an America that works for all.
